Santa came to visit 2 days ago. I told him I had been "pretty good" and he said "no qualifiers next year." What does it take to please Santa anymore? And he wouldn't even let me sit on his lap!
Yesterday, there were the most beautiful carolers in the hallway and it really was a sound to behold. I laid in my bed and cried as I remembered all of the blessings you've brought me during the past 2 years.
In more physical terms, we continue to pray that my body parts work together to move food from one place to another. Again, it's the little things.
I can't wait to get home to the boys again soon. The doctor thinks that may happen in the next week or so, but I am still wondering how that could possibly be, knowing how I still feel. I will leave it in God's hands, as always.
Love to all of you.

Hey there:
I just wanted to confirm something, Lenette...you didn't sing along with them did you???!
I'm glad the warmth of those beautiful voices brought warmth and comfort to you as you continue to recover and get stronger.
We'll all be glad to have you back in Muncie - when the doc's and God say it's OK. For now, get stronger & enjoy the warmth & security - instead of the big snow we're supposed to get in Muncie today.
Guess what! The High St. Bridge is supposed to open tomorrow!! What a joyous event for those of us who work downtown!
God Bless You And Keep You....God is Good.
Love, Jama
Good Morning Lenette,
I was so glad to read words that sound like they are coming from you. I know just listening to the songs of the season had to be a warm and wonderful feeling.
I know with your strength and God's loving hands He will let you know when the time is right for you to come home. Just lay there and let God surround you with warmth.
Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Boy Lenette,
Now that you're feeling a bit better, you are back to becoming a slave driver...making folks post updates at 6:22A.M. No wonder Santa wouldn't let you on his lap.
(That or he is waiting 'till you can do a lap dance...)

Hi Lenette,
I ran into Micah today and he told me he heard you are coming home soon.....that's the best news yet. We are all thinking of you and sending our healing thoughts your way. I saw the trail down Losantville way a week ago before the snow came it looks great, just waiting for you now to take a sleigh ride.
Anyway, A Joy to the World to You and a Merry Christmas too! Soon you'll be traveling over the Hills and Dales with the Silver Bells a-ringing with Rudolph leading the way and Frosty and his friends frollicking in your front yard
Take care Lenette, you're in our thoughts and prayers.
