Fluid Drained

The highlight of the day was having a CT Scan and using it to find pockets of fluid and then draining over 2 liters of fluid near my liver. They would have and definitely could have drained much more, but my blood pressure was really low (even for me)so that's all they drained. I am able to breathe much better because there is less pressure in that area.

Also, I'm working with Dr. Adrian and Dr. Spahr, Oncologist, and they're coming up with some other alternatives for the fluid issue. So I feel HOPE again...and that's been lacking here lately.

David and Cody were here again today. David took me to the hospital yesterday and Cody came later. And Tommy also came yesterday. What a treat to have all 3 boys in one day!!! Tommy returns to school in a week and a half to take 2 summer classes and workout with the rest of the team. But, one day at a time...they're all here today.

Love to all,
Lenette

Lenette-

I know you hate the hospital but it is where you should be now to help you get rid of the liquid. I am glad you have been able to get some relief and are breathing a little better. All the boys together - how magical and meaningful for you!!! Kids, no matter how good or bad, are the best!!!
I think you are very smart to commmunicate with us via the blog. Save you energy for yourself and your boys. Just know that your room would be full of friends who love you but who also reapect you wishes!!! Hugs until later!!! Roni

mercy sakes! I can't imagine the discomfort. I agree with Roni, it is wonderful the boys were all able to come and be there with you. As things are my father is a current resident of the BMH south tower and I have been in a dn out of your current location all week. If you need anything, I will be coming by anyway...just let em know. We are all continuing to pray for your continued recovery. Hang in there my friend. mary Slafkosky

Hi Lenette. I was wondering ehrn you might get back to me with the measurements on how high we need to elevate the bed at home. Now I know why I have not heard from you. Not glad you have to be in the hospital, but thrilled that you are getting some relief and breathing easier. How awesome to have all three boys with you at the same time. With each year, that gets more difficult as they get busier and have more responsibilities. Good for you and them! I love you, girlfriend. I am in town all weekend, so I can help with whatever. Please call my cell when you are ready for me to stop by and visit. Love and hugs, Beth

Lenette,
Every day is a New normal. Glad you and the boys could all hang together, even if it was in a hospital room. You are the rock and strength they need so enjoy the time together. Pray daily for you, knowing you will find the strength you need to carry on. You are an amazing lady...we all love you and only want for you to get better.
Rest and don't worry about the rest of the world, the only thing you need to think about is how can I have fun with my Boys.
take care, if you need anything you have the number.
love,
Barb
